The bright star east of the sword is Rigel, it is the 8th brightest star in the night sky.

The next evening, I caught the sun setting while we sailed passed one of the islands rising from the fog that surrounded it. The clouds on the horizon blocked the golden color of the rays but some sunlight shone through. Fact: our sun is not yellow; it is a white star.
This night shot was taken with a Nikon 5200 DSLR mounted on a tripod. It is a view of the southeastern sky. Though it is hard to depict, especially if you have limited knowledge of the constellations, there are portions of Eridanus the River and Cetus the Dolphin. There are other background deep space stars. Fact: the star e Eridanus was thought to have an exoplanet orbiting it.
